Morning Start – 6:30 AM
The day begins early at Pearce Heating & A/C, as we serve communities across the Eastside. After checking my service schedule over a steaming cup of coffee, I load up the van with essential parts and tools for the day ahead.
First Call – 8:00 AM
My first stop takes me to a chilly morning in Union Hill-Novelty Hill, where a homeowner reported their furnace making unusual sounds. These early diagnostic calls are crucial, especially during our Pacific Northwest winters.
Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM
Heading to Redmond for a scheduled maintenance check. Preventative maintenance is key to keeping heating systems running efficiently. I thoroughly inspect:
• Belt tension and wear
• Filter conditions
• Electrical connections
• Heat exchanger status
• Thermostat calibration
Lunch Break – 12:30 PM
A quick lunch in my van while reviewing afternoon appointments. The weather’s turning colder, which means more emergency calls could come in.
Afternoon – 2:00 PM
The schedule takes me to Sammamish for an HVAC system installation consultation. These meetings are important for helping homeowners understand their options for comfort and energy efficiency.
Late Afternoon – 4:30 PM
One final service call in Redmond to check a heat pump that’s not performing optimally. These visits often involve:
• Performance testing
• Refrigerant level checks
• Airflow measurements
• Control system verification
End of Day – 6:00 PM
Back at the shop to complete paperwork, restock the van, and prepare for tomorrow. Every day brings different challenges, but keeping our neighbors comfortable makes it all worthwhile.
Being an HVAC technician means being ready for anything while maintaining the highest service standards. Whether it’s in Redmond, Union Hill-Novelty Hill, or Sammamish, we’re committed to keeping homes comfortable year-round.
